Booking a Shoot
Availability
We are available for sessions on an appointment only basis. Sessions can be booked Mon-Sun depending on crew availability. Themed day events and shoot specials will be held on specified days only. Back to Top

Rates / Forms of payment accepted
Rates vary depending on how many “looks” you book per session. Please contact us for current rates. Your shoot is paid in full the day of the shoot. You can request a Paypal invoice for your balance if you plan on using a credit/debit card. Cash and checks are also accepted. A fee will be charged for any returned checks. Back to Top
Deposit required to secure your shoot.
A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is needed to book your session and will be applied to your balance the day of the shoot. Once we’ve confirmed your shoot date you will receive a Paypal deposit invoice. Shoots are booked on a first come, first serve basis and your shoot date is guaranteed only once your deposit has been received. If you have special circumstances and would prefer to pay your deposit with a check, cash or money order, please let us know so you can be accommodated. Back to Top
Gift Certificates
Want to give someone a fun gift? Well, gift certificates are available for purchase and can be redeemed by the recipient within a year of purchase. You will receive a list of Print Packages and rates upon inquiring. We have different options to fit your budget so you can give someone special a nice lil’ somethin’ or absolutely pamper your favorite gal with a deluxe package. Gift certificates are great for holidays, birthdays, mother’s day, brides or any hard-working gal that needs “me” time. Back to Top
Cancellations/ Rescheduling
If an emergency arises and you must reschedule or cancel your shoot please contact us at least 7 days before your shoot so your deposit can remain active, arrangements can be made and your shoot can be rescheduled. Back to Top
Location
Terribly Girly photo studio is located in Midtown Miami , Fl. Situated near the Miami Design District and Wynwood Art district. We’re just a hop and a skip away from the 836 and I-95. We are also available for on-location shoots. A travel fee may apply depending on distance. If you have access to a cool spot, please fill us in…we love shooting in new locations! We are willing to travel out of the area for special projects as well. Please discuss travel fees when booking if applicable. Back to Top

The Day of the Shoot
You are asked to arrive at your appointment time … no need to arrive any earlier. If you’re running behind please give us a courtesy call.
Once you arrive you’ll get settled in and we’ll finalize wardrobe and accessories for your shoot. You will then be taken away by the hair and makeup gals who will primp, curl, and bring out the best in you! Next you go to wardrobe where you’ll be cinched and tucked into your photo shoot garb. The final step is your photo shoot where you’ll be guided and posed along the way. No need to be nervous, we’ll walk you through it and you can have some bubbly to help you loosen up if need be! The Beauty Process: Hairstyling Make-up & Wardrobe
Professional hairstyling and make-up artistry is included with all our sessions. My “glam squad” is a trained and extremely talented group of women that are some of the best at achieving the pin-up look!
Wardrobe can be included with your session. Girls are encouraged to bring their own so we can mix and match. An extra fee will be applied to your shoot if you’d like to work with our talented wardrobe stylist. We can arrange for a wardrobe consultation in the studio prior to your shoot date if needed. I can also give you handy links if you’d like to shop for your own shoot goodies. Back to Top
Duration of the photo session
Depending on whether you book a one, two or three look shoot, your session can last anywhere from 2 1/2 to 6 hours. Hair and makeup will usually be completed within 1 – 1 1/2 hrs. The photo shoot itself lasts about 45 mins to an hour per look. Each additional hair and makeup change will take about 45 mins. If we’re shooting on-location the session might run a bit longer, depending on weather, travel, etc.

What Do I Get?
Your session
Each session includes professional makeup artistry and hairstyling as well as wardrobe if needed. After your shoot you will receive a package with a CD containing your final retouched images as well as a gift print per “look”. Back to Top
Your photos
You will receive a package in the mail with your CD containing your final retouched images from the shoot and a gift print per “look”. All images provided are retouched. In the even that the client requests additional retouching, an hourly fee will be applied. Raw or unedited photos will not be received by clients. What you receive is the final product and due to the nature of our services only final, retouched images will be provided. If you wish to make arrangements otherwise, for a special purpose, please contact Janette Valentine directly to discuss a possible agreement. Back to Top
How many images do I get and what are your session packages?
We have a variety of packages to satisfy your needs and budget…from “Mini” to “Deluxe”! You will receive a “Terribly Girly Pin-Up Packages” form detailing rates and how many final images you receive with each package. Back to Top
How long before I see my photos
Normally you will receive your package between 3-4 weeks after your session. You will receive “teaser” photos between 1-2 weeks after your session. If you have a deadline for your photos we ask that you book accordingly so you can allow time for editing and shipping. If you have a tight deadline please advise us so we can accommodate you. A rush fee may apply in certain cases. Back to Top
Prints, Coffee Table Books and Calendars
Print packages are available with every photo session! When your final images are ready, a print gallery will be set up for you, including a password that allows you access to purchase your professional prints online. Your photos will be available for purchase in a variety of sizes and economical packages. Your images are printed on the highest quality photo paper using silver halide printing. Metallic prints are also available and this paper really makes your colorful photos “pop”! You can also have your photos printed on fun items like magnets, custom hard or soft cover coffee table books, calendars and canvases. All of these make great gifts! Back to Top
The “Girly” Questions!
Can I bring a friend, family or significant other to the shoot?
If you must bring someone with you please be sure it’s someone you’re really comfortable with. And if you must bring a friend please limit to one. No children please! Male friends are not allowed on days when multiple shoots are taking place to respect the other gals’ privacy. Please advise us if you are bringing someone.
Do I have to be a model to book a session? I’m worried because I have no experience.
You don’t have to be a model! Only a handful of gals in my galleries have modeling experience and most have never been in front of the lens. Most girls do this for fun or as a gift to someone or themselves. Women come in all shapes and sizes…what better way to get a self-esteem boost than by having a makeover and the photos to show off?
I’m really shy and don’t know if I can pull it off!
You’re in good hands! We’re an all girl team and will do our best to help you look and feel your best. You will be guided throughout the shoot and treated with respect and patience. Remember this is fun ... no stress! You’ll leave those insecurities behind once you’re all dolled up and ready to go!
I really want to do this but need to remain anonymous.
No worries! Your photos will be displayed only if you grant us permission. Your photos will not be displayed, shared or printed without prior authorization. Please read the “model privacy” section in FAQ.
Will my photos be retouched? I have certain body concerns.
Absolutely! Due to the nature of our services all photos received by the client are retouched by the photographer. Retouching services are included with each package at no additional fee. If your photos require additional retouching, an hourly fee will apply.
What if I want more images retouched than offered with my package?
Additional photos may be requested to be retouched for an additional fee.
Do I need to bring my own wardrobe? What do I bring to the shoot?
Wardrobe can be included if needed and you can request a wardrobe consultation prior to your shoot with our stylist for a small additional fee. You can also bring your own goodies so we can mix and match. Not sure where to get your shoot items or what to bring? I can provide you with a list of websites that you may find helpful. We recommend vintage or vintage inspired lingerie, corsets, garters, babydolls, cuban-heeled stockings, fishnet stockings, ruffle panties, vintage bathing suits, retro inspired bikinis, pasties, bra and panty sets, boy shorts or full back panties, sheer panties (for boudoir), simple jewelry like rhinestones, classic pearls or fun colorful accessories. High heels are a must! Peep toe, classic pumps, cork-heeled sandals, mary-janes and sexy high heels are recommended. We ask that you bring shoes that match your shoot “look”.
I’m ready to book but don’t know what to choose.
If you don’t have any specific ideas and need help choosing a theme or style, we can send you a list of shoot themes to help you out. You’re welcome to send inspiration images if you have a specific look in mind. Ideas you send will be used as inspiration only and will not be duplicated or copied in any specific way.
I want to bring a camera to document my fun day!
Cameras are allowed for fun behind-the-scenes photos. No form of photography will be allowed in the shooting area while the session takes place.
Miscellaneous
Bachelorette/ Bridal Parties, Birthday or Special Event Pinup Parties
Groups can be accommodated and we can help you celebrate a special day … pin-up style! Please contact us for group rates. Individual and group sessions are available. Snacks and bubbly are always included. Please inquire about packages for bridal parties or birthday parties for a fun “girl day”! For an additional fee we can document the day with behind-the-scenes photos and an edited video you can share with the rest of the girls! Back to Top

Couples and Engagement Sessions
Want to do something fun and different for your couple’s shoot or engagement photos? Well, couples are also accommodated! We can provide you with different themes or choose your own. An extra fee will be applied to couple’s shoots. Fun couple’s photos make great “save-the-date” cards, invitations, wedding keepsakes and anniversary gifts. Back to Top
Clients Under 18
If you are a client 18 years old or younger you must be accompanied by a legal guardian to your photoshoot. Back to Top
Image Buy-Out
If you’re a company, performer, musician, model with a private site or have special needs for your images and prefer to do an image buy-out for limited use for a specified amount of time, please contact Janette Valentine for fees and availability. Back to Top
Model Release and Model Privacy
Your privacy is very important and if you wish to keep your photos private we will not post your images anywhere. Everyone is asked to sign a model release after the shoot to allow us permission to post your photos on our website or blog, social networking sites or online portfolios. Photos are sometimes submitted to magazines, interviews or TV shows that feature our services. You will be contacted prior to use if your images will be shared in this way. If you prefer to keep your photos for personal use please inform us and your privacy will be respected. Back to Top
Artists, Designers, Illustrators that want to use my images
Please ask in advance for permission to use my images. Contact Janette Valentine directly and explain your purpose and use of specified images. A usage fee may apply in instances where products will be sold or marketed. I own copyright ownership of all my images and use of my images without my written consent is an infringement. Back to Top

TFP
Time for print is on a very limited basis and only available for promotional, print, or personal projects. Models will be asked for a model release the day of the shoot.
